Femmycylce Low Cervix Version - Revisited

So it's been awhile since I first tried the Femmycycle Low Cervix version. I have to say when I first used it I thought it was a nice cup, but it was just so different from normal reusable cups that I couldn't get the hang of it.
Well I tried it for an entire cycle and it actually worked with no leaking. I find the C fold or punch down fold works best for me. Then I push on the body of the cup a little so it will sort of open, even though the cup doesn't need to pop open to work. This seems to do the trick for me, but if it doesn't work for you just try different folds until you find one that does. I love this cup now and will be using it regularly mixed with a few of my other cups, because I just can't decide on a favorite. There are times that I feel my cervix is too low for this cup, so I will be using another when this one doesn't work. I'm thinking about saving up for the small/teen version as well. My only complaint is the reaching in to pop the rim out to dump. I like that it's a no spill design, but the rim can get dirty. So make sure you are prepared and cover it a little as I've heard if your flow is heavy it can make a mess once it pops open.

Juju Cup

Juju customer service was very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend working with them. I got the Juju Cup in the small and large size. I used the small version because the length was perfect for me when my cervix was low. It is made of silicone, and has 4 air holes near the rim. The cup itself is soft, very similar to the firmness of the Bella Cup. I didn't have any trouble getting it to pop open. The stem has no grip rings on it and is very stretchy. The bottom of the cup has butterfly details for grip, but they don't stand out much; so if you don't like grip rings because they bother you...this would be a good choice for you. The stem didn't bother me at all without trimming it, although it can be trimmed if you find that it bothers you. Once the cup was in I couldn't feel it, so it was very comfortable. I had no issues with leaking. I think this cup is a good option for women who like soft cups, yet love the idea of grip rings that don't rub you. Overall I really love this cup, and I will be using it for a very long time.
A special thanks to Juju for sending me these sample cups to review.
